The Lake County Fairgrounds & Event Center is at 1060 East Peterson Road in Grayslake, Illinois. It is home to the annual Lake County Fair, a five day summer event run by the nonprofit Lake County Fair Association, and the 98th fair is set for July 28 to August 1, 2027. Outside fair week the grounds host events all year. The Grayslake Antiques & Flea Market is scheduled monthly from October through December 2026, alongside the Lake County Home Show on October 17 and 18 and a Festival of Arts & Crafts Show over Thanksgiving weekend. The fairgrounds sit about halfway between Chicago and Milwaukee and are within walking distance of two commuter rail lines to Chicago, so you can get there by train as well as by car.
