Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Eshu Chikoti collects through eshuchikoti.com and the client portal at portal.eshuchikoti.com (together, "the site"), how it is used, and the choices you have. Eshu Chikoti is an Illinois licensed real estate broker (#475.211139) with RE/MAX Top Performers, 124 N Waukegan Rd, Lake Bluff, IL 60044. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Eshu Chikoti.
Information you give us
- Contact and consultation forms: your name, email, phone number, property address and anything you write in the message.
- Portal accounts: your name and email address, and, if you use them, saved searches, favorite homes, home value details, documents and messages you share with us.
- Calls, texts and email you send us.
Signing in with Google
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account. We use them only to create and secure your portal account. We do not receive your Google password.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide the features you see in the portal. It is never sold, never used for advertising, never shared except as needed to run the service or as required by law, and never used to train AI models.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics and Google Search Console to see which pages are visited and how people find the site. These tools use cookies and collect information such as your browser, device, approximate location and pages viewed.
- Site chat and visit activity: if you use the chat on the site, we keep the conversation so we can answer you. We may also see which pages a visitor is viewing so we can respond to questions.
- Security logs: our hosting provider records basic request information, such as IP address, to keep the site running and protect it from abuse.
How we use your information
- To answer your questions and provide real estate services you ask for.
- To run your portal account, saved searches and home value reports.
- To send you listings, market updates or newsletters you asked for. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
- To keep records required of real estate licensees.
- To improve the site and keep it secure.
Texts and calls
If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your inquiry. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them. Message and data rates may apply. We do not share your phone number or text consent with third parties for their marketing.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers that run the site and our business for us, such as Cloudflare (hosting), Supabase (database and our CRM), Google (sign-in and analytics) and our email delivery provider. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
- With our brokerage, RE/MAX Top Performers, as required for licensed real estate activity.
- With other parties to a transaction you are part of, such as a lender, attorney or title company, when you ask us to or the transaction requires it.
- When required by law, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Listing information
Listing data on the site comes from Midwest Real Estate Data LLC (MRED) and is provided for consumers' personal, non-commercial use. It is deemed reliable but not guaranteed.
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, and as long as we are required to keep transaction records under Illinois law. After that it is deleted or anonymized.
Your choices
- You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing eshurealty@gmail.com. Records we must keep by law are kept until that period ends.
- You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message, and stop texts by replying STOP.
- You can remove the site's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Security
We use encrypted connections, access controls and reputable providers to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
